What's really pushing me is the fact that i can finally get rid of the E-B string tree (the G-D has long been gone), and maybe get better tuning stability when using the whammy bar. Standard tuners retrofit guitars with 13/32' 10mm headstock holes. After almost 2 years of waffling about on doing this upgrade, i'm almost close to a decision.
